Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Tester in our Cape Town office, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software by performing rigorous testing. Your role will involve both manual and automated testing, collaborating closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues early in the lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual and automated testing of mobile and web applications.
  • Report defects and communicate issues effectively to the development team.
  • Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Work closely with the development team to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
  • Participate in peer reviews of test artifacts.
  • Assist in the development of testing tools and automation frameworks.
  • Evaluate and recommend testing tools and processes for improved efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance roles

Certifications
  • Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
