Job Description

As a Tunnel Kiln Repairer, you will be pivotal in maintaining and troubleshooting our tunnel kilns. Your role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and executing repairs to ensure optimal performance of equipment used in ceramic production. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical background and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting operational issues within kilns to ensure continuous production.
• Implementing preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Documenting maintenance and repair processes for compliance and quality control.
• Utilizing kiln control software for performance monitoring.
• Participating in root cause analysis of operational failures to improve processes.
• Conducting safety audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assisting in training new staff on maintenance procedures and equipment use.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal training or apprenticeship in mechanical repairs or industrial maintenance.

Experience

• Prior experience in mechanical repairs or maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.

Advantageous

• Ability to read technical drawings.: Experience in interpreting mechanical diagrams and schematics is preferred.
