Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Cape Town. In this position, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Analyze financial data for discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end closing processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models.
• Support clients with their financial needs.
• Implement best practices in bookkeeping.
• Foster relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Accounting is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years in a related field

• Advanced Excel
• Accounting Software

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
