Job Description

As a certified Recreational Therapist, you will develop and implement customized treatment plans that engage clients in meaningful recreational activities. Your role is vital in enhancing their quality of life while promoting emotional, physical, and social well-being.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead a variety of recreational programs and activities.
• Assess clients' needs and interests to tailor programs effectively.
• Document treatment outcomes and report enhancements to care plans.
• Work with the recreation team to organize community events and outings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during activities.
• Engage in research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Develop promotional materials to encourage client participation.
• Facilitate team meetings and contribute to program development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a Health-related field
• Master's degree in Therapeutic Recreation is a plus

Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations is highly desirable.
