Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Nelspruit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will play a key role in maintaining our hardware and software infrastructure, responding to user inquiries, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up new hardware and software for employees.
• Ensure timely updates and patches to systems.
• Support office-wide technology initiatives.
• Provide backup and disaster recovery support.
• Maintain security protocols and data protection measures.
• Handle configuration of user accounts and permissions.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in IT or similar
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environments

• Mac OS

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation
