Structural Engineer

Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at Building Solutions Ltd., you will play a critical role in analyzing and designing structural components for various construction projects. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural designs and ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
• Coordinate with construction managers to ensure on-site implementations align with engineering plans.
• Review and approve shop drawings and plans submitted by contractors.
• Identify and resolve design issues as they arise during the construction phase.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in structural engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Structural Design Codes

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Revit: Experience with Revit for BIM applications is a plus.
• Knowledge in seismic design: Understanding of seismic design principles in engineering.
