Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Biostatistician in Stellenbosch who will be responsible for the analysis and interpretation of clinical trial data. This role is critical in shaping research strategies and improving health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct power calculations and sample size estimations for clinical trials.
  • Analyze data from complex studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop statistical models to optimize research outcomes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams on data management and analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and publications.
  • Provide statistical support for the development of clinical protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistical Science or similar discipline
  • PhD in a relevant field is highly advantageous
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in biostatistics within a clinical setting
