Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist who is dedicated to delivering exceptional mental health services. In this role, you will conduct assessments, provide individualized therapy, and be an integral part of our mental health support team in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapies tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate care.
• Monitor and document patient progress in clinical notes.
• Provide crisis intervention therapy as required.
• Educate clients on coping strategies and mental health resources.
• Assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies and make adjustments accordingly.
• Conduct workshops and support groups for patients and families.
• Participate in case conferences and consultations with team members.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting

Certifications

• Registered Clinical Psychologist with HPCSA

Languages

• English: Fluent
