Job Description

We are seeking a motivated AI Research Scientist to be part of our innovative team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be tasked with conducting research, analyzing data, and developing machine learning models that drive our AI initiatives forward.

Responsibilities

• Explore and propose innovative AI solutions for complex problems.
• Work on large datasets to train machine learning models.
• Engage in algorithm optimization to improve performance metrics.
• Partner with engineering teams to deploy AI solutions into production.
• Present research findings to stakeholders and at conferences.
• Contribute to the company's intellectual property through patent applications.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
• PhD preferred

• 3+ years of experience in AI research or machine learning roles
