Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork and data collection using advanced remote sensing tools.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of monitoring protocols.
• Support the analysis of spatial data through GIS software.
• Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with environmental scientists to integrate findings into broader studies.
• Utilize statistical software for data analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with remote sensing equipment.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance team knowledge on remote sensing technologies.
• Contribute to grant writing and project proposals related to remote sensing.
• Mentor junior staff in data collection and analysis techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geography, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in monitoring and analysis of remote sensing data

• Data Visualization Tools

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Certification
• Certified Remote Sensing Specialist

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Marine Remote Sensing: Proven experience in marine applications of remote sensing.
• Knowledge of Lidar Technology: Understanding of Lidar applications in environmental monitoring.
