Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Pretoria. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and providing high-quality support and treatment. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and routine checks on patients.
• Respond to patient emergencies and provide critical care.
• Administer immunizations and other preventative treatments.
• Document assessments and changes in patient status promptly.
• Educate patients on disease management and health promotion.
• Collaborate on research initiatives to improve nursing practices.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Assist in training of nursing students and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Nursing (B.N.)
• Specialization in Emergency or Trauma Nursing preferred

Experience

• 3+ years experience in a clinical setting

• Wound Care Management

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification
