Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our vibrant team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the dispensation of prescription medications and maintain records.
• Educate patients on health management strategies and medication adherence.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks of pharmacy practices.
• Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
• Participate in the training and mentorship of junior pharmacy staff.

Requirements

Education

• PharmD or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in specialised areas of pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of related pharmacy experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Clinical pharmacy skills
• Inventory management skills

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certified

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
