Looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer (AWS) to help us shape our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will optimize deployment pipelines, automate operations, and contribute to the reliability of our services while being part of a dynamic team in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and optimize AWS resources to support various applications.
• Leverage automation tools to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with Dev and Ops teams to enhance continuous deployment practices.
• Ensure security best practices are followed across all cloud applications.
• Conduct cost analysis and optimization for cloud services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles

Technical Skills

• AWS
• Terraform

• CI/CD Tools

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Kubernetes: Familiarity with orchestrating containers using Kubernetes.
