Senior Auditor

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Senior Auditor to join our vibrant team in Durban. The successful candidate will possess significant experience in auditing practices and standards, as well as a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for conducting audits, preparing reports, and providing recommendations that drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Review client accounting systems for compliance and accuracy during audits.
• Stay current on industry trends and changes in auditing standards.
• Create strategic plans for annual audits considering various client needs.
• Advise management on risk management and internal control improvements.
• Lead and manage audit engagements from file preparation through to finalization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Certification in Internal Audit is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in external auditing

• Tax Compliance
• Auditing Software Proficiency

• Problem-solving
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
