Extraction Worker

Job Description

As an Extraction Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our yard and warehouse. This hands-on role involves loading and unloading materials, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting various labor tasks as needed. We are looking for someone physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and yard area.
• Load and unload goods from trucks safely and efficiently.
• Assist in packing and unpacking goods for storage and shipment.
• Help with the maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Contribute to team efforts to improve warehouse efficiency.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training.
• Support other workers as needed to complete tasks.
• Ensure all materials are properly stored and accounted for.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or higher

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Physically fit
• Basic safety knowledge

Certifications

• Forklift operator certification (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent
