Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Laborers and Freight Movers to join our Operations team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform loading and unloading tasks efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all equipment is operated according to safety standards.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo movements and equipment usage.
• Support colleagues in completing tasks and ensuring a collaborative work environment.
• Actively participate in maintaining the yard and operational areas.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in forklift operation: Having a valid forklift operator's certificate is advantageous.
• Experience in a shipping or logistics environment: Familiarity with the shipping and logistics processes will be beneficial.
