Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our expanding team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with our development team to enhance product quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing and a passion for ensuring software excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed and well-structured test cases.
• Report bugs and track issues using JIRA or similar tools.
• Ensure software meets company quality standards before release.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve overall product quality.
• Perform regression testing as needed.
• Review and contribute to user documentation and support materials.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Assure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Identify testing requirements based on specifications.
• Develop testing metrics and reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance testing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodology: Experience working in Agile development environments.
