Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Specialist to join our team. The Behavior Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and implementing behavior intervention strategies for individuals with behavioral challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to analyze problem behaviors.
  • Implement and adjust behavior intervention plans based on client progress.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess and monitor progress.
  • Train caregivers and educators on evidence-based behavior management strategies.
  • Document all interventions and maintain compliance with ethical guidelines.
  • Research and apply new methodologies within the field of behavior analysis.
  • Assist in developing community workshops on behavioral awareness.
  • Work alongside other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to team initiatives focused on improving service delivery.
  • Participate in outreach programs to educate the community on behavioral health.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience in working with children or adolescents is advantageous

  • 3+ years of experience in behavior analysis or psychiatric settings
