Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with experience in designing, analyzing, and overseeing construction projects. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure the structural integrity and safety of various projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis efforts using industry-standard software.
• Review and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance team skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional memberships (e.g. SAICE) preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering projects

Certifications
