Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Officer to join our passionate team in Cape Town. This role involves developing and implementing public health initiatives, conducting health assessments, and promoting community awareness on health issues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address public health challenges.
• Design and implement evaluation plans for public health initiatives.
• Advocate for resources and support for public health programs.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Develop educational materials and resources for the community.
• Maintain accurate records and databases of health program activities.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote public health priorities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus

• 5+ years of experience in public health roles
