Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by conducting thorough testing and analysis. You will collaborate with developers and product managers to identify issues, enhance product performance, and ensure user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Perform end-to-end testing of web applications.
• Monitor application performance and report any anomalies.
• Support the development team in troubleshooting issues.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential usability issues.
• Train and mentor junior QA team members.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Participate in project meetings to provide QA input.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Software Engineering
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a QA role with automation experience preferred

Technical Skills

• TestNG
• JIRA

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD tools: Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline testing processes.
• Familiarity with cloud testing: Experience with testing applications in cloud environments.
