We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, with experience in both surgical and non-surgical procedures. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our furry patients while working closely with our support staff.

Responsibilities

• Examine pets and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to pet owners.
• Educate owners on pet care and preventive health measures.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
• Mentor junior staff and interns where applicable.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in veterinary medicine with focus on surgery
