Information Security Engineer

Job Description

As a key member of our team, the Information Security Engineer will be pivotal in safeguarding our digital assets. You'll be responsible for ensuring that our information systems are secure against unauthorized access and cyber threats. This role requires a great understanding of cybersecurity protocols and a proactive approach to risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and security audits for information systems.
• Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Work on incident response plans to manage and mitigate security breaches.
• Train employees on new security technologies and awareness.
• Evaluate and recommend security improvements for software and hardware.
• Develop policies for data privacy and protection.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure secure software practices.
• Provide technical support for security-related issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
