Job Description

Join our dynamic pharmacy team in Durban as a Pharmacist. You will ensure safe and effective medication use while providing education to patients. Your role will involve evaluating patient needs, managing medications, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication therapy management to patients.
• Conduct medication reviews and reconcile discrepancies.
• Advise patients on lifestyle changes and medication adherence.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team for integrated healthcare delivery.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records.
• Participate in staff meetings to improve pharmacy services.
• Support compliance with pharmacy laws and ethics.
• Provide emergency drug information to healthcare providers.

Requirements

Education

• PharmD or Master's degree in Pharmacy
• Residency training considered an asset

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

• Medication Management

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist License
• Accredited Immunization Certification (optional)

Languages

• English: Fluent
