Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at Innovative Structures Ltd., you will be responsible for designing and implementing structural systems for a variety of projects. You will work closely with architects and other engineers to ensure that our designs meet client specifications while adhering to safety, cost, and timeline efficiencies. Responsibilities

• Create innovative and sustainable structural design solutions.
• Finalize and review project documentation for accuracy.
• Attend project meetings to present structural concepts.

• Investigate structural integrity issues and recommend improvements.
• Assist in developing engineering reports and project proposals.
• Implement peer review processes to maintain design quality.
• Participate in training programs related to new technologies in engineering.
• Foster a collaborative team environment with a focus on mutual respect.
• Ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation for each project.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional registration with ECSA is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Project Management

Certifications

• ECSA Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous
