UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a creative UX/UI Designer to join our passionate team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you'll be responsible for translating user needs into intuitive designs and enhancing user experiences across our digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to execution for new features.
• Create and maintain design systems to improve efficiency within the design team.
• Collaborate with product managers to define project outcomes and success metrics.
• Assist in creating presentations and reports to share design concepts with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Prototyping Tools

Certifications

• UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Understanding of WCAG and how to implement accessible designs.
• Experience with mobile app design: Previous experience in designing apps for iOS and Android platforms.
