Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing security measures to protect our systems and data from cyber threats. You will conduct assessments, analyze risks, and develop effective security policies.

Responsibilities

• Implement firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption techniques.
• Conduct risk analysis and vulnerability assessments.
• Prepare reports on security incidents and breaches.
• Work with external agencies to address security concerns.
• Assist in developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Advocate for best security practices across the organization.
• Filter and manage access control and user permissions.
• Formulate incident response strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM) preferred

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
