Job Description

As a Public Health Analyst, you will focus on assessing health data and developing strategies to address public health challenges in Johannesburg. You will collaborate with experts to implement effective health programs and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Research emerging public health issues and develop strategic responses.
  • Identify risk factors affecting the health of populations.
  • Prepare statistical analyses for health programs.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to promote health initiatives.
  • Facilitate training and workshops for health professionals.
  • Help shape health policies based on evidence.
  • Utilize software tools for data management and analysis.
  • Monitor and assess health program outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit reports to funding organizations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health analysis or related field
