First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced First-Line Supervisor to direct our production teams at XYZ Coatings. This role entails not only supervising daily operations but also engaging in continuous improvement initiatives to elevate our production quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead team meetings to discuss production plans and performance.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and in good working order.
• Prepare reports on production metrics and outcomes.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of new employees.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Technical or Management field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Coating Materials Knowledge

• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations: Strong understanding of health and safety practices within a manufacturing setting.
