We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team at Local Veterinary Clinic in George. The successful candidate will work closely with our veterinary staff to provide high-quality medical care to pets while ensuring their comfort and health.

Responsibilities

• Lead surgical procedures and oversee postoperative care.
• Provide advice to pet owners on health management and disease prevention.
• Conduct outreach and education events in the community.
• Ensure compliance with all veterinary regulations and standards.
• Assist in the training of junior veterinary staff.
• Monitor and ensure a safe and sterile environment in the clinic.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science
• Additional certifications in specific areas of veterinary care are advantageous.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience with a focus on small animal practice
