Job Description

As an Allied Health Therapist, you will work closely with patients to facilitate their recovery and improve their quality of life. You will assess patient needs, develop bespoke therapy regimes, and work with families and the healthcare team to ensure holistic care is provided. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing assessments throughout the treatment process.
  • Create a supportive environment conducive to patient healing.
  • Work closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing staff.
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and adapt plans accordingly.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote health awareness.
  • Utilise technology to assist in reporting and evaluating therapy outcomes.
  • Attend trainings and workshops to stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Allied Health or a related field preferred
  • Registered with professional associations is a must
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
