Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) who is passionate about advancing medical knowledge. You will play a crucial role in managing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and monitoring participant safety. You’ll work closely with study teams and healthcare professionals, acting as a liaison between various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory documents.
• Conduct site visits and ensure compliance with protocol requirements.
• Support the training of site staff and ensure trial maintenance.
• Actively track recruitment and retention of participants.
• Evaluate site performance and implement strategies for improvement.
• Collaborate with data management teams for data integrity.
• Review clinical trial budgets and assist in project management.
• Maintain study files and records in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct ongoing training in clinical best practices.
• Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or relevant discipline
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in clinical or medical research

Certifications

• Clinical Research Coordinator Certification (CRC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) regulations: Strong understanding of guidelines governing conduct of clinical trials.
