We are seeking a qualified and talented Dentist to join our Port Elizabeth practice. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures and patient care, providing top-notch service in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and imaging as required.
• Prescribe medications for dental conditions appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Build rapport with patients to encourage a comfortable environment.
• Mentor junior staff and dental students.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in Dentistry preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in dental care

Technical Skills

• Cosmetic Dentistry
• Prosthodontics

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in Implant Dentistry: Hands-on experience with dental implants is preferred.
• Fellowship in Periodontics: Advanced training in gum disease treatment and management.
