Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and offering professional advice on health-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications in accordance with established protocols.
• Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications and chronic disease management.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and ethical standards.
• Conduct immunizations and health screenings.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in clinical trials and research initiatives.
• Review and evaluate medication therapy for patients with chronic conditions.
• Provide training and supervision to pharmacy interns.
• Promote the pharmacy’s services and offerings to the community.
• Participate in pharmacy outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Additional certifications in clinical pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of pharmacy experience with clinical focus
