General Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a General Engineer to join our engineering team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing various engineering solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. You will collaborate with other engineers and project managers to deliver innovative solutions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the engineering design process from initial concept to final implementation.
• Develop specifications and documentation for project execution.
• Perform quality control on engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with external contractors and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and expertise to junior engineers.
• Participate in project budget planning and management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role

• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)

Languages

• Afrikaans: Intermediate
