Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Telecommunications Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical solutions for telecommunications systems.
• Conduct site surveys to assess system requirements.
• Assist in the procurement of telecommunications equipment.
• Monitor and manage network performance and reliability.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for system installations.
• Participate in the design and implementation of disaster recovery plans.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for network efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a telecommunication role

• Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS)
