Job Description

As a Telecom Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our telecommunications infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive reliable and efficient service. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical background, along with a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install new cabling and fibre optic infrastructure as required.
• Assist in emergency repairs and maintenance services.
• Document technical processes and create user guides.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.
• Respond to service requests and resolve issues prioritising customer satisfaction.
• Continuously improve skills through training on new telecom technologies.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Telecommunications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in a telecommunications role with installation experience

Technical Skills

• Troubleshooting
• VoIP Systems

Certifications

• Telecommunications Technician Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
