Job Description

As a Timing Device Assembler and Adjuster, you will be responsible for the precision adjustment and alignment of the barrels in mechanical watches, ensuring each watch meets the highest standards of accuracy. Your attention to detail will be vital in testing and measuring watch movements to identify any issues, thereby contributing to our reputation for quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure precise alignment of mechanical watch components.
• Collaborate effectively with other assemblers and supervisors.
• Stay updated with new technologies in watchmaking.
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements in the assembly process.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Watchmaking certification or apprenticeship

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in watchmaking or related field

Technical Skills

• Manual dexterity
• Attention to detail

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Advantageous

• Experience in quality control: Prior experience in quality assurance roles is an asset.
• Experience with servicing techniques: Knowledge and experience in watch servicing is a plus.
