Job Description

The Drag Out Man plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient removal of materials from construction and mining sites. This position requires an individual who can operate heavy machinery skillfully while adhering to all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections of machinery and tools.
• Train new staff on equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with supervisors to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
• Prepare daily activity reports detailing the work completed.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of machinery as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Trade certification in earthmoving equipment is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the mining or construction industry
