Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing mining operations while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and a passion for the mining industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop mining plans and operational strategies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues encountered during mining operations.
• Maintain accurate records of mining activities and production reports.
• Facilitate communication between various departments involved in mining operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mining engineering or a related role

Technical Skills

• Mining Software (AutoCAD, Surpac)
• Geology and Exploration Techniques
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration
• Mine Safety Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
