Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer with a passion for sustainability to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing projects aimed at improving environmental quality and promoting sustainable practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental assessments, regulatory compliance, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement environmental monitoring programs.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers on sustainable projects.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies for environmental protection.
• Conduct research on environmental issues and solutions.
• Prepare grant proposals for funding environmental initiatives.
• Advise on renewable energy projects and initiatives.
• Support stakeholder engagement and public consultation processes.
• Conduct risk assessments related to environmental projects.
• Assist in developing sustainability policies and strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering
