We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Consultant who is passionate about sustainability and environmental stewardship. In this role, you will engage with clients to evaluate their environmental impact and provide strategic advice to improve their practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of relevant environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments and monitor environmental conditions.
• Collaborate with clients to develop sustainability strategies.
• Provide training and support on environmental practices.
• Evaluate and report on waste management practices.
• Assist with audits and inspections to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or equivalent
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or management

Technical Skills

• Environmental Compliance Auditing
• Sustainability Reporting

Certifications

• Lead Auditor ISO 14001
• Environmental Impact Assessment Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in French or Zulu: Ability to communicate in additional languages is a plus.
• Experience in renewable energy projects: Familiarity with environmental impacts related to energy generation and sustainability.
