Auto Tire Technician

Job Description

As an Auto Tire Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing tires across a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will help ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety by maintaining proper tire inflation, tread depth, and alignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.
• Perform quality checks after service completion to ensure safety.
• Stay up to date with the latest tire technology and industry trends.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Requirements

Education

• NQF Level 4 Qualification or equivalent
• Tire manufacturer certifications are an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years in tire servicing or automotive maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of tire balancing and alignment systems

Soft Skills

• Customer service skills

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic

• Driver’s License: A valid South African driver’s license is preferred.
