Responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures and tests as required.
• Advise on lifestyle changes to promote health.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in managing patient care.
• Ensure all treatments are in line with national guidelines.
• Document all patient interactions clearly and thoroughly.
• Provide emergency care when necessary.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Additional specialization in Family Medicine preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of GP experience

Technical Skills

• Chronic Disease Management
• Emergency Medicine

• Leadership

Certifications

• Advanced Life Support Certification
• Certified Family Physician

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in mental health care: Experience in addressing mental health issues in a primary care setting.
