Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Packers and Packagers to join our team in Johannesburg. The role involves preparing goods for shipment and ensuring that products are packaged securely and accurately. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail and be able to lift heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of packaged products.
• Follow company procedures for packaging and labeling.
• Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages.
• Support the production team in achieving daily targets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work collaboratively to meet production schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Relevant experience in crate lining preferred.

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Use of hand tools

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Reliability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of safety protocols: Understanding of workplace safety standards.
• Ability to operate machinery: Experience operating equipment used in packaging.
