Job Description

As an Accountant at Innovative Accounting Solutions, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial processes and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your expertise will help shape the financial future of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial reports and budgets.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Manage vendor relationships and payment processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Provide strategic financial support to department heads.
• Review and improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Coordinate financial training and resources for staff.
• Support the Finance Manager with special projects as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• CA(SA) designation is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of comprehensive accounting experience.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Non-profit accounting experience.: Previous experience in the non-profit sector will be an advantage.
