We are seeking a Public Health Specialist to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing health programs that address community needs. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance health awareness and improve overall public health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze community health data to identify priority areas for intervention.
• Coordinate health screenings and workshops in the Bloemfontein area.
• Develop partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations.
• Advocate for public health policies that benefit community health.
• Monitor and report on public health trends and issues.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff and volunteers involved in health programs.
• Support the implementation of health promotion campaigns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related discipline
• Master's in Epidemiology or Health Administration is a plus

• 4+ years in public health roles
