Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Pretoria team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing various civil engineering projects. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing infrastructure and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of all engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and maintain public and private infrastructure projects.
• Evaluate environmental impacts and propose mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of contract documents and specifications.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies and other stakeholders.
• Conduct research to improve efficiency and effectiveness of engineering solutions.
• Lead project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Implement best practices in sustainable engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in civil engineering with project management experience

Technical Skills

• Civil Engineering Software (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Design Software

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Registered Engineer (ECSA)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
