Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Window Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of windows and glass products. Responsibilities

• Install and repair glass fixtures in both residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct thorough inspections of glass installations to ensure safety and quality.
• Consult with clients regarding their glass needs and provide expert advice.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
• Train junior glaziers and share industry best practices.
• Work with various glass types, including double-glazing and solar control glass.
• Organize and maintain tools and equipment for optimal efficiency.
• Prepare job sites before starting work and clean up afterwards.
• Handle customer inquiries and follow up on service provided.

Requirements

Education

• Certification or apprenticeship in glass and glazing preferred.

Experience

• 3 years of experience preferred.

Advantageous

• Experience with specialized glass types: Prior experience working with stained glass, double glazing, and safety glass.
• Scaffolding Experience: Experience working at heights or with scaffolding setups.
