Job Description

We are looking for an Urban Planner based in Pretoria to contribute to our cutting-edge urban planning initiatives. Your role includes liaising with local authorities, community members, and other stakeholders to develop sustainable urban solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for urban projects.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and plans to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with zoning regulations and city policies.
  • Engage with community groups to gather feedback on planning initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress and adapt plans as necessary.
  • Develop land use plans and zoning proposals.
  • Utilize GIS technology to analyze spatial data.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in urban planning
